This page will be the place to go for updates and schedules for the Lighthouse Knitting Guild of Maine. We also have a Ravelry page dedicated to our group. Stop by to join the discussion.
We have a Facebook page too. Please like and share to help spread the word. You will also find interesting knitting tid-bits there, as well as some discounts that have been shared with us.
Founded in 2015, the Lighthouse Knitting Guild of Maine provides opportunities to improve on knitting skills, try new projects and techniques, and socialize with other knitters. The guild currently has approximately 50 members, most from Windham and surrounding towns. Knitters of any level are welcome and anyone who is interested in learning to knit is invited to attend. A typical guild meeting involves learning a special technique, new stitch, or features a guest instructor. There is also plenty of time to catch up with friends, see what FOs (finished objects) have been completed, and generally just relax and knit!
We will meet generally the first Saturday of the month from 12:30 – 3:30, except for holiday weekends, at the Windham Public Library – Large Meeting Room. (217 Windham Center Road, Windham, Maine)
Do you live in the area or visiting us for the summer? We’d love to have you join us.
